My room-mate n party partner Burcu has finally moved out yesterday, after being roomies for 3 months... Awwww.... So sad... Being the hopeless sentimental freak that I am, I cant help feeling like there's a cloud hanging above my head today.

Doesn't she look so sweet? Sigh... before I moved here, I was worried we're not gonna be compatible. You know how particular I could be at times. After a week of being room-mates with Burcu, who's from Turkey, I found out we have a lot in common ! We share the same opinion about fashion, guys, music and chocolates ! Oh how we would chat about our own relationship experiences and have girly pillow talk... Or try out clothes and have our own London Fashion Week. Che wah. Glamour leh... We absolutely love Zara, Topshop & Next. ( She can afford la coz she's working in GAP but I'm not =S ). We even go clubbin together. Over here in the UK, I only go to clubs IF there's someone I know for a long time is going with me, i.e. highly RARE. I don't go with any new college mates and that's why I'm a nerd-in-the-making in their eyes.

Burcu and I like the same type of music, esp Love Songs and R&B... We would alwiz play songs and be our own DJ in our room. Our favourite is Ayo Technology (She Wants It) by 50 Cent feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland. We'll play this song on You Tube and she'll be Fitty & I'm JT and we'll impersonate funny imitations of them.. "The smoke's got the club all hazy, spotlights don't do you justice baby..." - Our fav quote in the song. We love Ne-Yo as well... especially Because of You. "Baby you've become my addiction..." . We'll pretend we're Ne-Yo's girls and have girly fun ! When my fav songs are played on the radio, she'll remember and turn it louder.

I'll help her tidy up her stuff alwiz coz I know she'll be tired after work to clear it. She hangs my clothes and take them in if I'm out. She sometimes make nice Turkish food for me. I learn to eat many Turkish dishes. I esp like Dalma, which is stuffed food inside vine leaves. On her last night here, we had a romantic dinner in our kitchen with candles. I know she absolutely love 'em so I alwiz get her candles whenever I see pretty ones. Few days ago I got her a lavender rose as a parting gift and she got me a nice sling purse from Primark. Sigh... we even call each other darling, baby & dear... Ok now we sound so lesbo. LOL. C'mon, it's sisterly love. It's not everyday u getta bond with someone u've just met and click just like that. She offered to lend me money if I'm ever in need of cash coz she knows I have financial difficulty. I do offer her back coz I know she needs money to help pay for her new sem as well. Sigh isn't she the sweetest chum ?
