There's a bunch of good news on the way…

1. First up, my great grandmother ( dad's father's mother) is not in critical condition anymore. She would be discharged soon, but still needs care 24/7, coz she might only have 1 or 2 months more… The left side of her body is paralysed coz of the severity of the internal brain bleeding and her age.. Despite all this, she is still very strong and know what is happening... I cant thank God enough for working miracles and I wanna thank all my friends too for the prayers & support =) HUGS..

Since both parents are working, sherleen started college, joycelyn n thomason schooling, plus we have no maid, we would have to put her in a nursing home. My parents plan to put her in the one next to Convent Green Lane Primary School (my alma mater), so it's closer to home.

U know what last night my mom gave me a miscall abruptly and I thought u know… dot dot dot… I was about to burst into tears and my hands were shaking when I dial the calling card pin num n then number home… whoa my mom really gave me a scare man. When she picked up I straight ask bout ah phak and she told me the good news. Pheww…

N she said the most touching thing… my ah phak requested her to help buy kuih kah pek aka love letters (a Chinese biscuit usually eaten in Chinese new year I think) for her to distribute, and remember to get a whole tin for ah mun (Me! Pui Mun is my Cantonese name). And she said, must save lots of nice cookies for ah mun, coz she must be missing these food a lot. Tears roll down super banyak wei… Sobzzz ah phak ur the sweetest person on earth… I miss u a lot…

2. I AM FLYING HOME FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR ON THE 31^ST JAN =) !! Thanks to Roshan's dad Uncle Murli, he got the extension for my open return ticket so yup, I'ma going home to see my great grandma!

3. PwC puts me for internship in May for 2 months, and if I am ready to work for them, I'll be transferred to being an associate, starting work in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, on July 1. Yippie, if u guys have read my previous blog, u know what a blunder I had made, turning down the job offer. But God turned things around and I'm still on the list with this great firm, so yeap this is a miracle!

4. My sis sher is blending very well with her coursemates in college. At 1st, she was unsure which college to go to, which path to choose, and after enrolling, got worried coz most of them are chinese speaking, and she cant speak chinese to save her life lol… Btw she's in PTPL (The new name for IPG and yes that's my previous college). In Annexe C, taking A Levels. To all my PTPL friends, please help me look out for her, kiez… thankxx =)

5. The friendship between my best friend in London and I had gone better and we no longer have conflicts at the moment. He also stopped putting me as a source of teasing and sarcasm, mainly coz I'll be going back for good. =)

Last time, for example, if I point out the obvious, he would sarcastically go, "wow thanks for enlightening us miss tung, I didn't know bout that"

If I mis pronounced a word, like situation - "sit-too-ay-shen" instead of "sit-choo-way-shen", he'll call me tweety.

Or if I lose to him in running up the stairs, figuring out puzzles, staring game, any game, he would exclaim, "4 time champion!" and turned to me and smirk, "can u smell what The Rock is cooking ?"

Usually, walking around Leicester Square, our usual hang out place, we'll be girl watching, for example, 12 o'clock hottie heading ur way, 2 o'clock sexy brunette with smoky eyes. And since I don't watch guys, he'll go, 9 o'clock tall guy with suit, oriental guy 3 o'clock checking you out. Thing is, I don't respond much, so he'll hit me with, "seriously man your turning to a lesbian." I would smack him and he would go, "ouch your gigantic palm just landed on me" I would return with a, "FYI I'm as straight as can be, just not as 'hamsap' as u. N c'mon, you're so weak for a guy I could take u down any moment". N he would show his muscles and I would be like whatever...

(I had thought him that hamsap is pervert)

But he's a nice guy ok don't get me wrong. For example, just last week, when we're walking out of the restaurant, I was complaining cold and he was like, "just take my coat"… I went, "yarr don't be pagal k it's freakin cold" N he literally took off his winter coat and put on me. Everyone on the street was looking and I was kinda embarrassed but glad I have a bro like him, despite all the bickering. Dun get me wrong k, we're just good frenz.

So ladies… there's a good candidate here… QC-ed by Charm =).

6. What else? Yup I guess that's it.. Great grandma not in critical condition anymore, flying home soon, interns & job offer, great sis, great best friend… what more could I ask for?
